This work was created for the Designing Women Portfolio commissioned by Smokey Road Press, an independent letterpress company in Athens, GA. It went on display at the Murmer Media Gallery in Atlanta in March 2017 as part of the annual printmaking conference called the Southern Graphics International Council. The full portfolio with 36 participating artists will be given to artist book collections at The New York Public Library, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, and Wellesley College.
This piece of work is a continuation of my exploration of city life as well as a reflection on the meaning of environmental neglect and the impact it has on the future of our children and society at large.
